Born in the crime burdened city of Newark, NJ on May 13th 1989, Jevohan Douglas Barnes was raised in Haverstraw, NY since he was 5 years old. His mother wanted the best for him so when they moved to Suburban Rockland County NY, she put him in Catholic school so he could grow up having God in his life. St. Peter's would be his Parish growing up. Jevohan was baptised two times. Once in a baptist church in Newark as an infant and at St. Peter's Church as well. So thats twice the blessing. She asked the people through out the community to pray for him so he would be protected by the spirit growing up as a young child. Jevohan always had that glow to be a star. He had lead roles in plays at a young age and was very active growing up. He grew up a multi-sport athlete. Started playing organized basketball in 3rd grade. As a young teen he traveled the tristate playing in different summer basketball leagues in New York City and Rockland County. At age 14 his AAU team qualified for nationals at Cocoa Beach Florida. When he got to North Rockland HS he excelled as a star Football player playing fullback and running back. Also played basketball all four years as well. His senior year he was a thrower for the Track and field team and was one of the best in the section. Jevohan would be selected to the All Section Team as a senior for football. He then took his talent to Springfield College, a division 3 private school in Springfield Massechusetts where he played football as a fullback. Due to a knee injury Jevohan decided not to continue playing football there. Some alumni included WWE superstar John Cena and St. Louis Rams Former Defensive coach Steve Spagnola. The sport of basketball was invented at Springfield College and the history behind his favorite sport drew him there. There he studied Recreation Management. He had a poem published in a book in 5th grade. The title of his poem was "Special." Ever since then he always an excellent writer and still continues to do so today. Now he is currently writing a book that is untitled and also has been dedicated to music. He has been blessed with versatility and is working on his vocals to tell the rest of his life story. Modeling and acting is also on his agenda . Its safe to say that Jevohan can do anything he puts his mind to.
